EZ Link Matters

Do note of some of the important things that you must be aware of regarding your new EZ Link cards.

The old EZ Link cards allowed their stored balance to reach a negative value. ie. You tap the EZ link card on the reader when it has only 20 cents left and the new balance becomes negative 25 cents. This is because there is a hidden $1 deposit in the old EZ Link card.

The new EZ Link cards no longer hide that $1 deposit. You will have noticed that your EZ Link card balance went up by $1. That's because the $1 deposit has been revealed from its hiding place. What does this mean? The stored balance CANNOT go below 0 cents to a negative value. So you have top up when the value goes below 50 cents.

Regarding the ERP logo on the back of the card, your new EZ link card is ONLY compatible with the newest generation ERP card readers only started circulation this month. So unless you've just gotten a new car, it won't work.

And don't ignore the class tee design competition. Keep the designs coming into the chairmen.

Dear 4-3,

As you all are aware by now. You all have done reasonably well.

The fact of the matter remains is that prelim 1 was easy and very doable. IF anyone failed it, it simply means that he did NOT STUDY!!!.

If you studied sufficently and praticed enough, you would have easily scored an A1 or A2. I know that many of you did not study last year for Physics!!! We will not bother about the past!!!!
Fight for the future!!!

While you may think that you have done extremely well, let me warn you that you WILL deprove if you GET COMPLACENT and make it to the most deproved class for prelim 2!!! YOU MUST MANTAIN THE PUSH!!!!

Do not neglect your other subjects!!!

If you slacken now and allow your Physics grades to drop, you would have destroyed what we have been builiding up.

As a class, I want you all to push even harder!!!!

1) I will increase the frequency of revision tests and MOCK EXAMS!!!! even when I am away for reservist.

2) Anyone who refuses to do his Physics homework will be thrown out of class for "sabotaging the class".

With a little faith and a lot hard work, we can achieve anything!!! Always believe that. Let us finish what we have started!!!!

Cheers

Mr Edmund Yong
