Physics Test

Dear 4-3,

Take note that there will be a class test in the first week of school .

The date is 9 Jan 2009 at 12 noon after recess. Prefects should not be LATE!

Topics: Whole section of Thermal Physics

Format: 10 MCQs 30 marks structured questions.

I will be using this test as a diagnostic test to help identify the weak students. (Failures for the test will be down for compulsory remedial held after school and on Saturdays plus additional re-test) Do prepare for it and pass the word around.

P.s. Sorry if it sounds depressing
Mr Edmund Yong

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

Yays! Its the start of another year again! As the Earth begins another lap, what will await all of us? Another year turns revealing new beginnings, and hope springs anew. It is the beginning of the new and the end of the old. We enter the new year. A chance to start over, to begin a new. A chance to put the old year behind us. Our mistakes of the past have been forgotten. Or, at least, they should be. It is time to start a new.
A new year
New resolutions
New hopes and dreams
New loves
New losses
New stories
New poems
New everything

A new year
All old things forgotten
All old grudges forgiven
A peaceful start
A happy start
An all around good year
An all around better year
An all around awesome new year

A new year
Let's toast now to a brand new year
Let's toast now to no more tears
Let's have a bigger year
Let's have a better year
Let's have the best year to date
Let's start that year now, don't wait
Everything is better, this new year

Okayokay, celebrations aside, i feel that we should also be reminded that this new year brings to us not just the passing of time and a fresh start but also with every passing day, we are brought closer to the moment that all of us have been training this past 3 years for.. THE O LEVELS ARE IMMINENT!! Aaaaaaaaaahhhh!! Save yourselves!

So, I sincerely hope that everyone has been preparing fervently and I wish one and all (in 4-3 XD) the best of luck for the upcoming examinations, etc. That aside, I hope that everyone has already purchased their necessary books, stationery and extra uniforms for next year. Do take note that this is the last time you will be taking your Napfa as well so getting Gold in sec 4 will help you alot 3 years later in the army!! (girls are exempted from army)

To end off, I would like to thank all my fellow classmates and wonderful teachers for making our 2008 a memorable year of sharing and camaraderie. May the Class Spirit Live on forever! 4-3 Finish the Fight!

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Continued from Previous Post

In light of the economic recession, some of you are concerned about chalet costs. Some reassurance and advice.

Mr Yong has subsidised $200 for the accomodation. =P

nEbo members ALERT! BRING any UNUSED nEbo vouchers (the ones that came in your welcome pack) and most importantly bring your nEbo card! You can get discounts for tons of stuff at downtown east. This will save you quite a bit.

Eat at the food court. Saves you money instead of eating at BK or Mac (BK is very expensive IMO).

Eat BBQ leftovers? Erm, but we sure got leftovers one. I have never attended a BBQ where there have been no leftovers. The problem is whether the chalet room has cooking facilities.

If you have any membership that entitles you to discounts bring the card for that membership along. If you have Zone X cards, FunKeys etc. with stored value in them, do bring them along.

By the way, you may want to consider bring these stuff along:

1) Extension plugs. I don't know how many laptops/PS3s/Xboxes/Wii/Chargers/DVD Players you will be bringing so some kind soul please bring an extension plug.

2) GLOWSTICKS. (Just don't break them. One of them broke at my class chalet last year.) Spooky things that you can bring to enhance the effects of GHOST STORIES. By the way if you have any ghost stories do feel free to tell them.

3) Chargers.

4) Snacks. You can buy them from Downtown East anyway.

5) Anything else that might be of use to the chalet.

If you require the document with all the info on the chalet, please ask me on MSN. CHEERS!

RSVP your attendance for this event to KCS, Hong Shing or Ngiap Seng.

CLASS CHALET FTW

Hello peeps of 3-3 going-on 4-3,

Genius Ngiap Seng has came up with this genius idea of organizing a class chalet =D which is to be held on the 16 to the 18 of December at Downtown East. For further details, please download the attached document which can be found at the end of this post...And yes, ALL IS INVITED AND WELCOME!

Please, to all those who can make it, please come down. Even if you can't make it for all 3 days, you can still come on the 16th or the 17th. Please take note that the BBQ will be held on the first night, which is the 16th. Class bonding and all you know? Have to get to know each other better =)) 'Cause we're gonna be a class again next year.

Also, the current amount we have to spend is seriously creating huge holes in our wallets, and our hearts are just aching like mad. Like they all say, the more the merrier! At the same time you can also help those with financial problems lighten their burden...But seriously why can't we just use that huge amount of money that our class treasurer is in charge of *hints*. Anyway huge thanks to Mr Edmund Yong who kindly sponsored 200bucks for this chalet =)). Yay.

YOU KNOW YOU WANT IT. Interested people, please sign up with either Ngiap Seng, Hong Shing or Choon Searn. Please contact us as soon as possible, 'cause we have to calculate the total cost and all...Thanks in advance.

REMEMBER, YOU KNOW YOU WANT IT.

*Ahem* Since I have not found a way to actually post the stupid file on this post, I think I'll just ask Johnervan to mass send it to you all later, since I don't have all your contacts...
