Sec 3 Taman Negara Camp

HI Guys

Back from the Taman Negara Camp we are eh....

Was a fun yet very tiring one...no doubt about that... I still can vividly remember how everyone's eyes are glazed over, as if we came from war zone...just yesterday night....


Darn train...2.01am become 3.20am....Man...it seriously sucks

But I feel that we have bonded together even closer as a class. We have one and a half more years to bond as a class man...but this camp was a fun and enriching one....

Higher Chinese lessons frm Tuesday to Friday this week, 10am to 11.30am in 3-5 classroom. Only those who are shortlisted have to come.

Camp Update

For those of you who have yet to do your last minute camp shopping (Naughty you!), be sure to ensure that you have all of the following (give or take those that you don't require, ie. booties, helmet)

2 PE T-shirts

House T-shirt

Any t-shirts, 2 pcs

2 PE shorts

Any shorts, 2pcs

Long Pants/ Track Pant

5 Underwear

1 Wind-breaker/ warm-clothing/ pull-over

2 pairs of Track shoes (2nd pair can be booty)

1 pair of Slippers /sandals

1 Towel

4 pairs of Socks

1 set of Fork, spoon, mug and plate (plastic) NONDISPOSABLE

1 Bottle of Powder/talc

1 set of Toiletries

1 roll of Toilet paper. To save space, remove the cardboard tubing from the middle portion.

1 bottle of Insect repellent

1 bottle of Sun block/ screen

2 Black trash bags

1 set of Stationary and note book

1 Small piece of rag

1 Torch-light (very important)

1 Sleeping bag

1 Poncho( must have)

1 Water bottle(at least 1.5L)

Passport / visa (can’t leave home without)

Medication If necessary

Spectacles/Contact Lenses

Remember to save space when packing. Stuff socks inside your track shoes. Bring small bottles of the lotions, not massive ones. Travel-sized ones are ideal. Sunblock should be at least SPF30, preferably SPF45. You're going to engage in activities that are full-day.

At the very least, bring RM50. RM100 is preferable. You wont' know when you'll need the money. As for food on the train, there MAY or MAY NOT be food trolley carts or restaurant cars on the train. I'll update you once i get more information.

According to the KTM website, our train departs Jerantut at 0201 hrs and arrives in Singapore 1135hrs, contrary to the 1300hrs that Mr Goh KY and YH said.

That said, enjoy the secondary 3 camp!

UPDATE: There is a biology test tomorrow!English homework has been uploaded. This includes Broader Perspective Compre and Early Days Compre. Download if you've lost them or don't have them. Scroll to bottom of post for more information.

Please bring $2 tomorrow for replenishing of the class fund. Pass to Nathan. It's super important as our class fund is running low (below $10).

There's some English homework given by Lawrence Tan. They are namely the Broader Perspectives Comprehension, and the comprehension on Early Days. Note that there are 2 separate sheets of paper for the Early Days compre, first sheet is the passage, second sheet is the question sheet. You will be receiving another piece of homework on Lord of the Flies soon.

Remember to do your filing for physics, chemistry and biology. The files are due either tomorrow or TUESDAY.

English marks will need to be checked for those of you who went for the NTU trip. Note that your marks will higher than those shown outside the General Office because of the addition of more components. So there will be B3 scorers getting A2s. No one got an A1 in our class so stop dreaming.

The marks for both mathematics have been confirmed. We did fairly well as a class, surprisingly better in A Maths than E Maths. =D Cheers!

Chinese homework for those of you who went NTU. Page 44 and 45 comprehension passages to be done Tuesday. Tomorrow Mr Suah won't be coming in because he has other matters to attend to. You can use that time to do your Higher Chinese Homework.

To make matters simple for English homework, if you fail to receive any of the english comprehensions, i will be scanning and uploading them up here for you to download. Check back here another time.

Hand in your travel declaration forms to Johnervan tomorrow. They must be signed.

Band Concert

3 more days to band concert....band members are feeling the heat eh.....


this year, the band concert has a FULL HOUSE...its a sold out concert....for those who like to interact with the opposite sex, there will be more than enough opporunities during the concert. Some statistics: there will be 115 girls from IGTP, and 6 girls from Zong Da...(friends i mean)...


the band is working hard to bring the best to all of you..the people who have generously supported our concert by buying the tickets. Reassured, we will give in our best.....

just a quick preview of the songs we are performing include pirates of the carribean (the song that you heard this morning during invest), do-re-mi, beauty and the beast, and a very familiar encore piece.

i BET YOU WILL LOVE THE ENCORE PIECE. so remember to shout encore loudly at the end...or you will miss out the favourite piece of all time..........what is the piece? even if i tell u the title, you also most likely wont' know....but all will know it once we play it thi8s saturday.


so keep your spirits high and await for a rejuvenating experience this saturday night.

Investiture 2008

Great investiture today. Our class has two SLB presidents, so you guys better show your utmost respect to them, and let their one year in that post be a fruitful one. Johnervan of CMC and Zong Da of PB. If anyone goes disrespecting them, the teachers in charge (particularly Mr Tan JH) are going to chase you down.

Our class has a ton of SLs. Let's show our support by listing them down here:

10 SLBs at your service. 25% of 3-3 are SLs. Not surprising 3-3 is one of the most well-behaved classes.

Of Passports And Camp

Ok so remember to bring your passports tomorrow. Foreigners holding a student pass should keep their student pass and only submit the passport, but remember to bring your student pass on the day of departure.

Ensure that:
Your passport has more than 6 months to its expiry
Your passport's photo is updated
